AI Video Frame Interpolation

Local processingWebGPU required2× interpolation

Generate smoother 2× video locally with RIFE AI, WebGPU, and audio-preserving MP4 export.

Source video
Choose a file
Drop a file here, or click to choose one.

Choose standard 2× or a slower display-matched 60 FPS timeline.

  • 2× FPS
  • 60 FPS (slower)
No data
2×: up to 60s at 1080p. 60 FPS: up to 60s at 720p or 30s above 720p. Source rate up to 30 FPS.
How it works

RIFE generates frames for the selected 2× or 60 FPS timeline, and Mediabunny exports a same-duration video locally.

Private local workflow
The source video and generated frames stay on this device.
Real RIFE interpolation
A verified neural model generates new midpoint frames with WebGPU.
Duration and audio preserved
Output timing stays unchanged and compatible encoded audio is copied.

How it works

Three steps to finish the browser workflow.

  1. 1

    Choose a short video

Select a video up to one minute at 1080p, with a maximum source rate of 30 FPS.

  2. 2

    Review compatibility

Choose 2× or 60 FPS output and let the browser verify WebGPU, decoding, and MP4 encoding support.

  3. 3

    Interpolate and download

Generate frames locally, preview the processed video, and download the finished MP4.

Frequently asked questions

Find quick answers about privacy, browser support, exports, and what to try when a file is heavy.

Are files uploaded for this tool?

This browser tool processes the selected media locally on this device. The file is not uploaded to ArtPlayer servers for this workflow.

Will the export have a watermark?

No. ArtPlayer browser tools do not add watermarks to exported files.

Why can processing take time?

The work runs in your browser, so speed depends on your device, browser, memory, source size, and the export settings needed for the result.

Which browsers work best?

Recent Chrome, Edge, and other modern Chromium browsers usually work best for heavier browser media processing.

What should I try if a large file fails?

Try a smaller source, close other heavy tabs, reduce resolution or duration first, and keep the tab open until the export finishes.

What does 2× frame interpolation do?

It generates one AI frame between each adjacent pair while preserving the original duration.

Does the video leave my device?

No. Decoding, RIFE inference, encoding, and muxing run locally in a compatible browser.

Why is the duration limited?

AI interpolation is GPU- and memory-intensive. The beta supports source videos up to 1080p and one minute to keep browser processing bounded.

Can interpolation create artifacts?

Yes. Fast motion, occlusion, text, flashing, and scene changes can produce distorted intermediate frames.
