Balance size, resolution, and motion
Compression removes visual information to reduce the number of bytes in the final MP4. Talking-head clips and screen recordings usually shrink more predictably than sports, particles, camera shake, or detailed game footage because complex motion needs more data to remain clear.
- Try Balanced first for everyday sharing and storage.
- Use Small when an upload limit matters more than fine detail.
- Resize before another compression pass if a high-resolution result is still too large.
